A little bit of history

Open since September 2012, LE 1837 has not always been a 4-star tourist residence.

Until 2010, it was the Saint-Jean-Baptiste primary school: a private Catholic school created by the congregation of the Brothers of Saint-Jean-Baptiste de la Salle.

This project to create a Catholic school structure in Saint-Affrique dates back to 1837! You know everything... but not the most unusual!

You are indeed witnesses to a happy marriage between an Aveyron family, in love with their beautiful region, and a 19th century building. The fruit of this union: a 4,500 m² complex completely renovated on an domain of more than 2 hectares.

You will still find traces of the past with the chapel, the grotto of Notre Dame in the Park and a few decorative elements scattered throughout the establishment!

Today, LE 1837, which combines comfort and services, provides you with "high-end" services and offers you 36 fully equipped apartments, which can accommodate from 1 to 6 people depending on the type of accommodation, and a wide range of self-service facilities.
